iP Features.
AVATARS
In iP you can wear up to 672x672 full color 32 bit alpha blended Avatars.
iP AVs are made from up to sixteen animated or static 224x224 Props.
Animated props reside in the center of your AV and are animated over static props.
iP props are 32 bit, each pixel in a prop can have an alpha value (transparency level) of 0-255.
You can scale your AV on the fly from 1 pixel in size up to 2 times normal with a simple command.
Multiple Prop Sets.
You can have as many prop sets as your hard drive space will allow.
Each set will have its own set of F-Key macros for quick wearing of AVs.
And each set can have as many props as you want in it.
Integrated AV importer and AV editor.
You can import props with the iP AV Importer.
And edit them with the paint program-like iP AV Editor.
with its multiple drawing tools.
Talk Baloon Positioning.
You can set the talk, think, and sticky balloon placement on each of your AVs.
As well as the Y axis location of your name. So you can place the name where it will not conflict with your AV.
ROOMS
1014x694 Room Size.
iP rooms are much larger than some other chats. Over three times the area of 512x384 sized rooms.
Full Color Rooms.
iP rooms are full color, non palleted.
Integrated Room Editor.
iP's room editor allows you to quickly create and maintain your rooms.
Protected Doors.
iP doors are "closed" until you hold down Ctrl, this means that its impossible to fall into another room accidentally.
Movies.
iP rooms can have embeded small movies in avi, mpg, and wmv formats.
Handy for such things as fireplaces, snowfall, a beach scene, or joke skits.
Wavs.
iP rooms can have embeded wav sound effects.
USER TOOLS
User Protection.
Each user may ignore another user, rendering them silent.
Additionally users may shun other users, rendering them totally isolated.
Users may also remove offending props from other users on their own client.
As well as prop gag others with respect to their own client.
AV Sharing.
Users may offer another user their AV with a click from a popup menu.
Clearing Talk Queue.
Users may clear the talk queue of another user, or themselves.
This permits users to cancel the chat from someone disruptive, or chat they have already read in the log.
Friends Log Chat Colorization.
Users may color the chat of any user by name in the log.
You can make sure you never miss what that special person says.
BRB Mode.
Users may enter BRB mode in which they will flash slowly, new users will see them flashing as soon as they enter the room.
Eliminates confusion regarding if a person is "there".
Multiple Whisper.
Users may whisper to more than one user at a time.
SOUNDS And MEDIA
MP3 Controller.
Users may maintain a list of the MP3s on their own system.
And search them and command an external player such as Winamp to play them.
Users may NOT use iP to swap mp3s, there is no capacity to do so.
However, if two users have the same MP3 they will both hear it play if one or the other plays the MP3 in iP.
Sound Effects.
Users may play wav or midi sound effects.
SCRIPTING
Script Editor.
iP has an integrated, syntax highliting script editor.
Users can compile and check for errors or hints, as well as compile and execute scripts directly from the editor.
Script Events.
iP has several events that will trigger a client or room script.
Such as when users arrive in a room, when users talk, when users change AVs, and when users leave a room.
STAFF TOOLS
Moderation.
iP has 12 forms of moderation: Ban, Jail, Gag,
Pin, Isolate, Prop Gag, Name Gag, Sound Gag, Whisper Gag etc.
Room Editor.
The client's built in room editor allows you to upload props, images and media from within iP.
Moderated Users Editor.
The client's built in editor allows you to review and edit the status of moderated users from within iP.
Staff Editor.
The client's built in editor allows you to review and edit the staff of your iP server from within iP.
Server Administration.
The client's built in editor allows you to update the settings of your iP server from within the client.
